Matt Lucas is to release his song Thank You Baked Potato to raise funds for the NHS.
The Little Britain star has updated the lyrics to his comedy tune with advice on his to stay safe from coronavirus (COVID-19).
Lucas, 46, will now release the charity single on Friday April 3rd, with all going to FeedNHS, an initiative set up to raise £1 million to get 6,000 meals per day for critical care staff in hospitals working amid the coronavirus crisis.

Lucas announced on Twitter: “It’s official - ‘Thank You Baked Potato’ will be released on Friday! All proceeds go to #FeedNHS, providing meals across Britain for our amazing NHS workers.”
The lyrics include: “Wash your hands, stay indoors, thank you baked potato. Only go to grocery stores, thank you baked potato.”

Lucas said: “The Baked Potato Song was something I sung on Shooting Stars 20 years ago and in an idle moment on Tuesday night I rewrote the lyrics and updated them.
“Baked Potato is always giving good advice and the new advice in the new version of the song is about washing your hands, staying indoors and only going to grocery stores.
“I urge everyone to buy the single this week and raise vital money for the FeedNHS campaign.”

The track can be downloaded in exchange for a donation to the campaign.
It was revealed this week that actor James McAvoy has volunteered for NHS support and donated £275,000 to help buy protective equipment.
The X-Men star told LBC radio: "Really we all are desperate to find something to do and help. We can't take our money with us.
"I wanted to bring attention to the fact that morale in the NHS is incredibly low. They've saved my life in the past. They've been real life superheroes.”
