Potato is a playful guy who is just as unique as his name entails. Potato came to the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter in January and has won over the hearts of volunteers and staff with his charming nature. He loves to hang out in the Getting Acquainted Rooms at the shelter, chase wand toys around and give head butts to his volunteer friends. In a previous home, Potato had been experiencing stress and therefore inappropriately eliminating outside his litterbox.
Potato is looking for a cat savvy adopter who understands the sensitivities of cats, especially in the transition into a new home. He would do best as an only pet and in a calm, adults only home. If you are looking for a handsome cat with the personality to match, Potato is your guy!
